Vijnaneshwara Composes the Mitakshara at Kalyani

In the court of Vikramaditya VI, the jurist Vijnaneshwara completed the Mitakshara, a commentary on the ancient Yajnavalkya Smriti that would become the most influential treatise on Hindu law in Indian history.
